The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to former Military President General Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida at his Minna residence, reinforcing ties with Nigeria’s elder statesmen.

Accompanied by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima, the First Lady’s visit was a gesture of goodwill, checking on Babangida’s well-being.

After a brief exchange, they proceeded into a closed-door meeting, sparking curiosity about the discussions held behind the scenes.

Continuing her visit to another national figure, Senator Tinubu also stopped by the home of former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar.
The retired leader warmly received the First Lady, expressing his appreciation for her thoughtful visit.
“It is heartwarming to have the First Lady check up on my welfare,” Abdulsalami remarked. His wife was also present to welcome the First Lady.
