Police arrest suspected drug dealer, 5 thugs, recover illicit substances, weapons in Kano

The Police Command in Kano State has arrested a suspected drug dealer, Hafizu Ali, 25, and five suspected thugs in an operation conducted by police officers attached to the Jaoji Police Division, Kano.

The operation, directed by the Commissioner of Police, Mr Ibrahim Bakori, recovered 2,070 suspected Pregabalin capsules, 23 parcels of suspected Cannabis Sativa, four knives, two scissors, and an axe.

This is contained in a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, CSP Abdullahi Kiyawa, in Kano on Monday.

Bakori commended the officers for their commitment and thanked the public for their support.

He said that the suspects would be charged to Court upon the completion of investigations.
