JUST IN: Police release ex-Kano antigraft Czar, Muhuyi Magaji Rimigado arrested over alleged Ganduje, one other petitions
The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has released former Kano Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman, Barr. Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado.
SolaceBase had reported that Barr. Muhuyi Magaji Rimingad was arrested at his law firm on Zaria road in Kano, on Friday by police from the IGP squad and taken to Abuja.
Speaking to SolaceBase on Saturday after his release, Muhuyi said he would have to be back on Monday to perfect his bail conditions.
He was informed that two petitions were written against him by former Kano State Governor and ex-APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and former Managing Director of Kano State Agricultural Company (KASCO)
SolaceBase gathered that Ganduje’s petition accused Muhuyi Rimingado of malicious prosecution of Kano State Government equity in Dala Inland Dry Port, allegedly converted by him and his sons.
While the former KASCO MD, Bala Inuwa, alleged that the properties confiscated from him through a court process have been disposed off by Muhuyi Magaji.
Meanwhile the KASCO suit and that of Dala Inland Dry Port equity are all before a competent court of jurisdiction.
