VIDEOS: Police tear gas protesting NNPP supporters in Kano
The Police in Kano on Wednesday dispersed supporters of the New Nigeria Peoples’ Party, NNPP who were on the street to protest the recent judgment by the Appeal Court that declares Nasiru Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress, APC as the winner of the March 18 governorship election.
The protest is coming after the Appeal Court handed over Certified True Copies of the Judgment to the NNPP, whereby some contradictions were discovered.

The NNPP has since filed an appeal at the Supreme Court challenging the removal of Governor Abba Yusuf.
Most of the protesters were calling for justice by giving them what they voted for.

”Abba is our choice and that is the person we voted,” the protesters said.
SOLACEBASE reports that the protesters took over BUK road and part of Gidan Murtala.
