Prof. Pate to deliver keynote address at international media conference in Pakistan

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University Kashere in Gombe State, Professor Umaru Pate,  will deliver a keynote address at the 10th MCAP-BNU International Media Conference.

Pate is expected to share insights on contemporary media challenges and the evolving landscape of communication.

His address will contribute to the ongoing discourse on the media’s role in shaping societies, particularly in the digital age.

SolaceBase reports that the event with the theme, “Bridging Divides: Media Literacy for Informed and Connected Societies,” is scheduled to take place from February 18 to 19, 2025, at Beaconhouse National University’s Tarogil Campus in Lahore, Pakistan.

Pate, a professor of media history is the only Nigerian participant attending the conference in the Asian country.
