2024 Protest: Kano Govt orders immediate resumption of work by civil servants

Kano State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa has issued a directive for all civil servants in the State to resume work immediately.

SolaceBase reports that this follows the state government’s decision to relax curfew hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In a statement signed by Bintu Nuhu Yakasai, Director of Public Enlightenment in the Office of the Head of Service, appealed to all civil servants to report to their respective offices at the usual hour of 8:00 a.m. from Wednesday.

The Head of Service reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to enhancing the civil service and bettering the lives of its workers.

He emphasized the need for increased efforts to boost service delivery to the public, urging all civil servants to redouble their efforts and strive for excellence in their respective roles. “Civil servants are expected to comply with the order and resume work immediately,” he added
