Reps member secures federal employment for 22 youths
The House of Representatives member, representing Nasarawa Federal Constituency of Kano State, Nasir Ali Ahmad has reiterated commitment to eradicate poverty and joblessness among youths in his constituency.
The Lawmaker reaffirmed this on Sunday while distributing letters of federal employment to 22 youths.
Ahmed said securing permanent and pensionable employment for youths in his constituency is not new as several of them have been gainfully engaged through a scheme he established,’’ Nasarawa ba jagalia’’, meaning that ‘’there is no room for unworthy behaviour’’.
He said apart from the employment opportunity for the youths, there are plans for other empowerment scheme so as to eradicate poverty among the people.
Nasir Ali Ahmad said the even distribution of his constituency program among his constituent endeared him to the people as he created avenue to attend to their needs.
Most of the beneficiaries while appreciating the opportunity promised not to betray the confidence reposed in them.
