Protesters around Kano Government House and State Road on Thursday were dispersed by security agents when the peaceful protest turned to burning of tyres and becoming unruly.

SolaceBase reports that the operatives after trying to put off the fire had to fire tear gas and some shooting into the air to scare the protesters to maintain sanity.
