The former Kano State Governor and Sardaunan Kano, Senator Ibrahim Shekarau, has expressed grief over the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
SolaceBase reported that former President Muhammadu Buhari died on Sunday at a London hospital due to ill health.
This was contained in a statement he personally signed on Monday.
‘’With deep grief and total submission to the will of Allah that I received the news of the passing away of our leader, President Muhammadu Buhari in a London Clinic last Sunday, said the statement.

The statement said,’’ Since 2002 when I joined politics, my close interaction with the late President revealed his strong passion for Nigeria and its people. In my engagement with him, people’s interest always supersedes any other interest.
‘’Nigeria and Nigerians will surely miss Buhari’s patriotic zeal and commitment.’’
‘’We pray Almighty Allah to grant him Aljannah Firdausi.‘’
