A former Governor of Kano State Senator Ibrahim Shekarau has commiserated with Kantin Kwari traders over the fire incident in the market.

SolaceBase had reported that a fire outbreak at the popular Kantin Kwari textile market in Kano on Saturday night destroyed multimillion naira investment.

A statement signed by  Senator Ibrahim’s Media Adviser, Dr Sule Yau Sule on Monday reminded the traders to see the incident as a test from the Almighty God whom only can bring succor to the affected traders.

Shekarau, a former Minister of Education prayed for the non-recurrence of the incident.
