Sokoto varsity sacks three staff over sexual harassment, result alteration

Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) has sacked three employees for breaking the school’s code of conduct attributed to gross misconduct, including result alteration, sexual harassment, and abscondment from duty.

The dismissal was approved during the university’s 171st regular meeting on March 12, 2025, according to the spokesperson, Ismail Yauri.

Yauri said the disciplinary action was in line with UDUS’s stringent “zero tolerance” policy for unethical behavior.

“The affected persons have already been served notice of the dismissal,” Yauri said.
