Troops rescue 3 abducted from Kano community
The Joint security operatives under Operation MESA have rescued three of the five abducted victims during a late-night bandit attack in the Gwarzo local government area of Kano State.
The operation involved troops of the 3 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, working alongside the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and the Nigerian Police.
SolaceBase had reported that the fresh attack in Lakwaya town, Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, on Sunday night was confirmed by the village head of Zurin Mahauta, Murtala Mai Unguwa, on Monday.

The Assistant Director of Army Public Relations, 3 Brigade, Captain Babatunde Zubairu, confirmed the rescue operation to SolaceBase.
Captain Zubairu said that three of the abducted persons had been safely recovered, while efforts were ongoing to free the remaining two.
He reassured the public that troops involved in the operation were committed to ensuring the safe return of all abducted persons.
