Two (2) killed as Boko Haram terrorists attack Borno police station
Boko Haram terrorists reportedly attacked Jakana Police Station in Konduga local government area of Borno State, on Sunday.
The incident led to the death of a police driver and a woman. They also razed two patrol vehicles belonging to the police and the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF).

SolaceBase gathered that they also made off with several arms and ammunition.
Jakana, situated approximately 45 kilometers from Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, along the Damaturu-Maiduguri expressway, was the site of the early morning attack.

The terrorists arrived around 1:00 a.m. and engaged in a gun battle with the police for nearly three hours. The insurgents eventually overpowered the security personnel and fled around 3 m.
Chairman of Konduga local government area council, Abbas Ali Abari, confirmed the incident.
The Borno State Police Command is yet to give an update on the incident.
