Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has declared that his administration has so far completed 90 percent of its campaign promises to the people of the state.

The governor stated that efforts are already underway to ensure the remaining 10 percent is fully implemented before the end of the administration’s tenure in May 2027.

Governor Yusuf made the remarks while receiving the 16th Fulani Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, at the Government House during the Hawan Nasarawa celebrations as part of the Eid-el-Kabir festivities in Kano.

According to him, his administration has recorded significant achievements across various sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture, environmental sanitation, and youth empowerment.

“We have completed 90 percent of our campaign promises, and we are already working to complete the remaining 10 percent within this year,” the governor said.

“By May 29, 2027, the people of Kano will see that we have fulfilled 100 percent of our campaign promises. We are also going to introduce additional projects and programmes that were not captured in our manifesto, all for the benefit and betterment of Kano State,” he added.

Governor Yusuf noted that his administration remains committed to improving the living conditions of residents through people-oriented policies and developmental projects.

He also reaffirmed his government’s dedication to sustaining peace, unity and progress across the state.
