Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of Aminu Gidado Yusha’u as substantive Project Coordinator, Kano, Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL).
Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL is a World Bank Project in collaboration with the Federal Government and the 19 Northern States, including the FCT.
SolaceBase reports that his appointment is sequel to the elevation of the previous Project Coordinator, Dr. Dahir M. Hashim, to a commissioner and member of the state cabinet earlier this year.
In a congratulatory message signed on Tuesday by the Commissioner, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Kano State, Dr. Dahir M. Hashim described the appointment of Aminu Gidado Yusha’u as well-deserved.

‘’Your appointment comes as no surprise, given your unwavering dedication and proven track record of hard work. I have full confidence in your ability to deliver on your mandate, support His Excellency’s vision, and drive the project toward achieving its critical objectives, the statement said.

Until his appointment, Aminu Gidado Yusha’u was the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer of the Kano ACReSAL Project.
