2023 Hajj: Last batch of Kano pilgrims departs MAKIA

The last batch of Kano pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for 2023 Hajj exercise departed Malam Aminu Kano International Airport,(MAKIA) on Wednesday.

SOLACEBASE reports that the 540 pilgrims were airlifted at 3.30pm by Max Air enroute Madina.

Director General, Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Rabiu Dan Bappa told SOLACEBASE, on Wednesday that with the last flight, Kano has airlifted all its allotted pilgrim of 6,106 in 12 flights.

Dan Bappa said 44 officials including himself would depart for Saudi Arabia today, Thursday.

He noted that necessary measures have been put in place to ensure hitch free exercise that would  provide the pilgrims with best services.
