24 Kano House Of Reps Member-Elect Endorse Gbajabiamila For Speaker

24 House of Representatives Members Elect from Kano have endorsed the candidature of Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila as the Speaker of the 9th National Assembly when the federal legislature are inaugurated on June 9

The endorsement took place at a meeting held at Kano Governor’s Lodge Asokoro Abuja, late on Friday night.

The motion for the endorsement was moved by the Chief whip House of Representatives and Member-Elect Tudun Wada /Doguwa Federal Constituency, Hon. Alhassan Ado Doguwa and Seconded by Speaker Kano State House of Assembly and Member-Elect Rano/Bunkure/Kibiya Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum.

Solacebase recalled that Femi Gbajabiamila who is presently the Majority Leader in the 8^th National Assembly at the House of Representatives officially declared interest for the Speakership on Sunday, March 31^st.

Also the Femi  Gbajabiamila’s office had announced Abdulmumin Jibrin, a Kano lawmaker, as director general of the campaign.

Kano state  Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje , the  State Chairman of APC  Abdullahi Abass, Deputy Chairman and State Secretary of the party all attended the meeting
