Ajimobi’s Death: Kwankwaso commiserates with Ganduje, family of deceased

Kano State Commissioner for Rural Development, Alhaji Musa Illiasu Kwankwaso has expressed shock over the demise of former Governor of Oyo state and Senator, Isiaka Abiola Ajimonbi who died on Thursday.

Senator Ajimobi died Thursday after losing the battle to COVID-19 related and underlying illness at a private hospital in Ikoyi, Lagos.

This was contained in a condolences message personally signed, Alhaji Musa Kwankwaso.

He regretted that the sad passage of Ajimobi who served the nation and good people of Oyo state meritoriously came when the astute politician was very relevant.

The Commissioner described the late deputy national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as great achiever whose contribution and giant stride on social-economic growth and everlasting legacy in Oyo state would remain in the sound of the time.

The statement said , ” We have lost a beloved brother and wonderful in-law of Kano state. Senator  Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, a silent achiever and gentle man whose great job and development in Oyo state will not be forgotten in a hurry.

” Senator Ajimobi’s death is sad at a crucial moment when his political intelligence and experience are still very relevant towards moving our great party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the land of victory”.

Kwankwaso commiserated with the family and good people of Oyo state over the loss of Senator Ajimobi and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant him eternal rest and afford his family the fortitude to bear the sad loss.

Kwankwaso also extended his condolences to Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who is an in-law to the Ajimobi’s family and prayed the Almighty Allah to forgives his shortcoming and grant him Aljana fridous.

Ajimobi fondly called the constituted authority was the first Governor of Oyo state to spend two consecutive term of eight years as governor between 2011 to 2019.
