Heavily armed bandits attacked Kutemeshi community in Kuyello District, Birnin-Gwari, Kaduna State on Saturday killing 19 persons, injuring 10 others.
Solacebase gathered that the armed bandits invaded the town around 5.00 pm, riding more than 50 motorcycles.
A resident of Kutemeshi, Idris Bello Adamu, said during the two hours operation, armed bandits opened fire on the innocent rural community that borders Katsina state and Kaya, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna.
” We call severally for security reinforcement only a handful of vigilantes came after the bandits had retreated to the bush around 7.00 pm yesterday, ‘’said Bello.

He appealed to the government to provide security for the community as most residents have fled the community over incessant attacks on the people by bandits.
‘’It is sad that the closest police post to us is about 30 minutes ride on a motorcycle, ‘’Adamu said.
Efforts to get a reaction from the Kaduna Command Spokesman proved abortive as his phone was switched off.
