Nigerian Mobile Police Squadron Commander (MOPOL 9) Assistant Commissioner of Police, Atiku Nagodi is dead.
Solacebase reports that (MOPOL 9) is domiciled at Hotoro, Nassarawa local government area of Kano state.
ACP Atiku M. Nagodi died on Monday after a protracted illness at his residence in Kano.

Kano Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the death to Solacebase.
He said the late MOPOL 9 Squadron Commander served in many Police formations before his deployment as MOPOL 9 Commander, where he was until his death on Monday.
Solacebase reports that increasing death in Kano has been generating concern with reports of over 650 mysterious deaths in two weeks in the ancient town that led the federal government instituting an investigation into the deaths, through the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19. Although the illness that led to the death of the late ACP is yet unknown.
DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said funeral prayers were observed at the residence of the deceased on BUK road and was buried later in the day.
The late MOPOL Squadron Commander is survived by a wife and children.
