Atiku inaugurates Gwani Muhammadu Quranic college in Kano

People’s Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Thursday commissioned a five hundred capacity Quranic College at Gunduwawa town in Gabasawa local government area of Kano state.

The Quranic College was constructed by Senator representing Kano Central, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and named after his grandmother Gwani Mammadu Dan Gunduwawa.

The college, a constituency project, will accommodate 250 male and 250 female students at a time, for a six months memorization of the Holy Qur’an.

Speaking at the commissioning, Wazirin Adamawa lauded senator shekarau for initiating the project Which will play vital role in promoting Islamic education.

The former vice president was in Kano for his presidential rally.

On his part, the visibly excited senator Shekarau, appreciated Atiku Abubakar for commissioning the project.

Shekaru also explained that, he is always committed to providing dividends of democracy through projects that will touch the lives of the people including the generation yet unborn.
