A former Vice-President and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday visited former military rulers, General Ibrahim Babangida (retd.) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Minna, the Niger State capital.
Atiku’s visit to Babangida is the second time in less than three months that he held a meeting with the former Military President behind closed doors.
The visit was part of his activities as he visited Niger State for an interaction with PDP stakeholders in Minna for the fourth coming party primaries.
A tweet via his handle read: “The reception and interaction with stakeholders of our great party @OfficialPDPNig in Minna today was exhilarating. Happy to be in The Power State and thank you for the time.”
