Commissioner Queries Health Personnel In Kano Over Incompetence
Kano State Commissioner for Health Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa on Monday ordered the issuance of a query to in charge of Rimin Gado Comprehensive health care center, in Rimin Gado Local government area Malam Habibu Mohammad Auwal over incompetence in the discharge of his duty.
The Commissioner gave the order on Monday during a visit to the area as part of the supervision and monitoring exercise in the ongoing meningitis campaign (Men A) in the state.
A statement issued by the ministry public relations officer, Ismail Garba Gwammaja and forwarded to Solacebase said Dr. Tsanyawa noted with dissatisfaction that the in charge of the comprehensive hospital Malam Habibu Mohd Auwal is not organized and bold enough to explain basic things and questions affecting the facility and also kept the environment untidy which may cause more harm than good to those that visit the clinic.
It said the commissioner expressed dismay, that despite the efforts by the state government to renovate and provided basic equipment in the hospital but yet there is no evidence of such huge investment due to the poor leadership.
He called on all and sundry to be up and doing in the discharge of their mandate for accelerated development in the sector.
