Court commences sitting as presidential tribunal delivers judgment

Proceedings have begun at the Presidential Election Petition Court, for the much-awaited judgment on the petitions filed by the PDP, Labour Party, and the Allied Peoples Movement against the election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The judges took their seats at about 9.34 am and proceedings began with introductions.

Representatives of the parties took turns introducing themselves.

In the court, apart from the lawyers are Vice President Kashim Shettima and governors of Kogi, Nasarawa, Imo, Ekiti, Yobe, and Bauchi states.

Others include the Chief of Staff to the President, Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribudu, and Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo.

The Labour Party Chairman, Julius Abure, and Aisha Yesufu are also present.
