COVID-19: FG Donates PPE To Kano State Govt
The Federal Government has donated Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, to Kano State Government to contain the COVID-19 pandemic spread
Isah Adamu, who represented the Minister of Environment, Dr Muhammad Abubakar, in Kano said that the items would go a long way in fighting the dreaded disease in the state.
“We are donating hand sanitizers, Personal Protective Equipment and other items most needed by the health workers who are in the frontline of the battle to contain the spread of COVID-19.
“The items include, respirators, face masks, hazzan suits, gloves, reflective jackets, sprayers, hand sanitizers and microsite chemicals among others,” he explained.

On his part, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje commended the initiative of the Federal Ministry of Environment in the fight against COVID-19.
He said that the donation would go a long way in fighting the pandemic in the state and also complement the state government’s efforts.
Dr Ganduje also commended the Federal Government efforts in fighting the dreaded COVID-19 disease.
