COVID-19: Kobo 360 Logistics donates PPE to AKTH

In a bid to cushion the effect of COVID19 Pandemic in Nigeria, the management of kobo 360 Logistics Ltd has donated COVID-19 palliative materials to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital in kano state.

Solacebase.com reports that Kobo360 logistics which has it office at Bank road, Kano is a technology company that aggregates end-to-end haulage operations to help cargo owners, truck owners, drivers, and cargo recipients to achieve an efficient supply chain framework.

The donated materials include medical drugs, PPE, hand sanitizers and other medical equipment.

Speaking after handing over the equipment to the management of the Hospital, the Northern Operations cordinator of kobo 360 Logistic Mr. Hashim Adebayo said the gesture is the company’s corporate social responsibility noting that same gesture was conducted at Lagos University Teaching Hospital LUTH, Ogun state university teaching hospital and same is replicated in Kano state, being one of the states worst hit by the pandemic.

Northern Nigeria business head of the company Toro Akindele represented by Sunday Zakari stated that Kobo 360 logistics choose the health sector due to the situation the country finds itself amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a remark, the Chief Medical Director, Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Prof. Abba Sheshe Abdulrahaman, expressed appreciation and gratitude to the management of Kobo 360 logistics for the gesture and promised to judiciously use the items donated.

‘’We are in a very tight and tough situation in Nigeria especially the health sector so any aid that is given to us is a welcome development, we are calling on other philanthropists to come to the aid of health service in the country so that we can be able to combat the coronavirus pandemic,’’ Abdurahman said.
