The traditional ruler of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom, Ughelli South LGA, His Royal Majesty, Clement Oghenerukevwe Ikolo, Urhukpe 1, who voluntarily surrendered to the Delta police command, on Thursday, has been flown to Abuja.
He was escorted to the Asaba International Airport by the Commanding Officer, 63 Brigade Nigeria Army Asaba, the Delta state police commissioner, and other senior military officers.
He boarded Air Peace Airline with the plane departing Asaba Airport at about 9:10 am to Abuja.

The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) had declared him and seven other persons wanted in connection to the murder of 17 military personnel in Okwuama, Ughelli South LGA.
The monarch released a statement to reporters where he reiterated his innocence, adding that he was shocked to be included among persons declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters.
