The All Progressive Candidate Candidate, Alhassan Ado Doguwa has been declared the winner of the Saturday’s rerun election in Tudun Wada/Doguwa federal constituency in Kano state.
Ado Alhassan Doguwa, the former leader of the House of Representatives, scored 66,667 votes while the PDP candidate, Air Commodore Yushua salisu ( rtd), polled 6,323 votes.
INEC returning officer of Tudun Wada/Doguwa constituency, Prof. Mansur Auwalu Dindawa, on Sunday said, Alhassan Ado Doguwa of All Progressive Congress, (APC), having satisfied the requirements of the law and with the highest votes in the election is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected.

Speaking shortly after the announcement, the APC Candidate, Alhassan Ado Doguwa expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the election.
Alhassan Doguwa who expressed happiness over the large turnout of voters during the re-run, dedicate this victory to the people of his constituency, the good people of Kano state and Nigerians in general.”
