Eid-el-Kabir: Kano Speaker felicitates with Muslims

The Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari has felicitated with Muslims in the state and the nation at large on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir Sallah festivities.

In a Sallah message signed by the Chief Press Secretary of the State House of Assembly, Uba Abdullahi and made available to journalists, on Tuesday, Chidari described the festive period as a moment of sober reflection and total submission to Allah S.W.T.  and to also continually offer prayers to God the Most Exalted in this blessed period to seek divine intervention to end the challenges bedevilling the nation.

‘’Chidari called on the people in the state to as a responsibility upon the people of the State to always identify with Government efforts in making life meaningful to the teeming population,’’ said the statement.

‘’The Speaker similarly commended the foresight and stylistic leadership qualities of Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in moving the State forward on all matters related to development.’’

The statement furthermore appreciates the proactive measures of the state government in handling the COVID-19 pandemic and the tactical approach in making the State crime-free.

“Health and security of the State remain topmost priority of the State Governor as such we the people of the State owe it a responsibility to support the Governor and make Kano State a role model in Socio-economic, security and development among its contemporaries.’’

‘’He used the opportunity on behalf of himself and Honourable Members of the House to congratulate the five Emirates of the State over the Eid-el-Kabir  celebrations and appealed to them to continue mobilising their people on the importance of observing COVID-19 protocols and to also assist the state government  towards improving the security of the State.’’
