President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to use the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration to pray for the peace and stability of the country.
In a statement issued on Saturday by Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson, Tinubu asked the Islamic faithful to reflect on the essence of the celebration, which, he noted, bears strong meaning and significance for the nation.

While congratulating Muslims in the country for the celebration, the president said sacrifice and duty are essential ingredients of nation-building.
He added that it takes collective purpose and will to bring about great change in the country.
The president also said the sacrifices of Nigerians “will not come to nought as already propitious outcomes are beginning to manifest with the economy strengthening”.
