The Emir Of Gona, Alhaji Umar Abdulkadir Abdulsalam on Sunday conferred a traditional title of Sarkin Bai of Gona Emirate on a Senior Broadcast Journalist, Abdulkadir Aliyu Shehu.

The Emir, Alhaji Umar Abdulkadir Abdulsalam said the title was conferred on Abdulkadir Aliyu Shehu due to his commitment to human and societal development.
‘’He was conferred with the prestigious title of Sarkin Bai of Gona, considering his passion and professionalism in discharging his duties over the years,’’ said the Emir.
The Gona Emirate is one of the first-class Emirate in Gombe State.
