Emir lauds Radio Nigeria Pyramid FM for initiating laudable programs
The Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar II has lauded the efforts put in place by the new leadership of Radio Nigeria pyramid Fm in enlightening, and sensitizing the people of his Emirates on the new Digital Economy.
The Emir stated this while receiving the new General of the Station Malam Abba Bashir, who led the management team on a visit to the Emir’s Palace in Karaye Local Government Area of Kano state.
Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar explained that radio is a great tool for passing the needed information to the general populace, saying the recent development achieved by the radio station in recent times was a welcome development.
He said Karaye Emirate would accord the station the needed support to achieve the aim of sensitizing and educating the public.
The Emir prayed to God to steer the radio station to the right path and urged the new leadership and the Management to remains steadfast in addressing issues with objectivity.
Earlier the New General Manager of Radio Nigeria pyramid FM Madobi Kano, Malam Abba Bashir said he was at the palace to introduce himself as the new General Manager of the station, and to seek royal blessing.
He said within the last two weeks that he was posted to the station, he was able to key the station into the digital world, which among them include creating a website for the Station and live Streaming.
Malam Abba Bashir maintained that the Station had introduced a live programme which will be intimating the teaming youths and the general populace of opportunities available on the internet, with aim of educating them on the requisite knowledge.
‘ Your Highness there are a lot of opportunities on the internet, but many of our youths don’t have the technical know-how of exploring them, we have introduced a programme that would vividly train our youths the modern techniques, and I’m sure with this Development the rate of unemployment would drastically be reduced”
He assured the Emir that soon the Madobi station would be back on the air, noting that more programs would be introduced aimed at uplifting the lives of the people of the Emirates especially the rural dwellers.
