#EndSARS Protests: Law clinic plans conciliation session

Following the #EndSARS protests that turned violent in Kano on Tuesday, an international reputable law firm, Prestige Law Clinic a unit under Prestige solicitors and associates, plans to organise a Clinical Conciliation Plenary session on the protests in which all parties will be invited to lay there grievances.

This was contained in a statement issued by a partner in the firm, Barrister Maruf Yakasai on Wednesday in Kano.

The statement said the session is scheduled for next Wednesday.

It said the protests in Sabon Gari quarters, Fagge local government area started peacefully but turned violent with the burning of Galaxy mall, Chicken Republic and vehicles in front of St Thomas Primary School on Tuesday.

It said as a citizen every Nigerians have a role to play to stop the violence before it consumes everyone.

‘’We solved similar issues in Mexico relating to Natural disasters in 2017 and based on my proposal a plenary session was held on Natural disasters, the first of its kind in the world, said the statement.
