Skills Acquisition: Engineers institute to partner Engausa Global Tech Hub in Kano

Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIME) has identified Engausa Global Tech Hub as one of the recognized skills acquisitions centers in Kano that can impact with approved skills knowledge.

Kano Branch Chairman, Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Engr. Lawan Usman Isa stated this recently during a visit to Engausa Global Tech Hub in the state.

Engr. Isa praised ENGAUSA’s bilingual teaching approach in both Hausa and English, expressing optimism for its implementation in schools nationwide.

SOLACEBASE reports that the engineers lauded ENGAUSA’s commitment to empowering youth and nurturing personal growth and emphasizing the transformative impact of skills on communities.

The institute expressed readiness to collaborate with Engausa Global Tech Hub in impacting the technical skills and scientific knowledge of students to develop the country technically as what is obtained in advanced countries.

On his part, the founder, Engausa Global Tech Hub Engr. Mustapha Habu Ringim said the center was established four years ago to break barriers in the use of language in training and bridging gaps in technical knowledge to enhance development.

Ringim said the focus of the hub is Human Capital development and technical skill acquisition program.

He said the Hub gives emphasis to developing skill acquisition and practical knowledge of trainees rather than paper certification.

‘’What we are doing here is to ensure that we train students in local Hausa language that will make them easily understand issues that may be difficult for their better understanding in English,’’ Ringmin said.

‘’Most of our students who have graduated are presently gainfully employed and they are mostly Almajiris, Out of school children and hard to reach area for their work.
