The former governor of Kano state and one-time minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hamza Abdullahi, has died in Germany.
A family source told
He served as military governor of Kano state from 1984 to 1985, while President Muhammadu Buhari was military president of Nigeria.
The late Air Vice Marshal died at the age of 73.
The source said arrangement are being made for the remains of the late military chief to be return to Nigeria for burial.
