Fresh attack has claimed five lives in Adamawa State.
The attack was said to have occurred at Bali village in Demsa Local Government Area of the state.
Reacting to the development, the Adamawa Police Public Relations Officer Othman Abubakar, who confirmed the incident said a suspected ethnic militia allegedly ambushed the travellers along Numan-Kpasham road to Taraba State.
Othman Abubakar, said four other victims survived the attack with injuries and are receiving treatment at a hospital.
The PPRO calls for calm noting that investigation has been launched into the incident.
