Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet has assumed duty as the Director, Public Relations and Information (DOPRI), the Nigerian Air Force (NAF).

This is contained in a statement by Group Capt. Joel Abioye, the Deputy Director, Public Relations and Information, NAF in Abuja on Monday.

Abioye said that Gabkwet took over from Air Commodore Ayodele Famuyiwa at a brief ceremony at the NAF Headquarters, Abuja.

He was the spokesperson for NAF from March 9, 2021 to Jan. 6 before he was appointed as the Commander, 551 NAF Station, Jos. (NAN)
