Kano state Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje on Wednesday appointed Baffa Babba Dan Agundi the new Managing Director of Kano Roads Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and Eng. Idris Wada Saleh, who is reappointed as the Managing Director of Kano Roads Maintenance Agency (KARMA).
The appointments are with immediate effect.
Baffa Babba Dan Agundi was a former member of the Kano State House of Assembly, representing Kano Municipal constituency.
He was the House Majority Leader. While Eng. Sale was the immediate past Managing Director of KARMA.
A statement issued by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor , Abba Anwar said Dr Ganduje charges them to work diligently as they were chosen based on their good track records in developing the state.
According to the statement Ganduje said , “Your coming on board is a pointer to your immense contributions for the state. It also shows that you will put your strength towards promoting good service delivery in your various offices.”
The statement directed them to imbibe the culture of complying with best practices in their newly assigned responsibilities, urging them to always remain partners in progress in moving the state to a higher level.
