Gov Ganduje appoints new Head of Service, Permanent Secretaries

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the appointment of a new Head of Service, in person of Usman Bala Muhammad, who until his new appointment, was a Permanent Secretary with the Ministry of Information.

Solacebase reports that other Permanent Secretaries appointed are Engineer Muhammad Bello Shehu, who was, until this new appointment was Director Research and Statistics with Kano Roads Maintenance Agency (KARMA), now a permanent secretary.

A statement issued Chief Press Secretary to the Governor , Abba Anwar , on Monday, said Magaji Lawan, who was also, until his new appointment as Permanent Secretary, was Director Final Accounts, Ministry of Finance, Bilyaminu Gambo Zubairu who was also Director PHC, Rano Zonal Office, is now a newly appointed Permanent Secretary.

According to the statement, Mairo Audi Dambatta, who was until her new appointment, was Director in the Office of the Head of Service, is now a Permanent Secretary.

‘’All the appointments are with immediate effect. While congratulating them for the new assigned responsibilities, governor Ganduje enjoyed them to always work hard for the promotion of good virtues in the public service., ‘’the statement said.

‘’Adding that, “You must take it as part of your responsibilities, employing IT-based techniques in your day to day official engagements. ‘’

‘’You must also bear in mind that, it was your proven track records that uplift you to present spaces. Hence all eyes will be on you to see how you will navigate through.”
