Ganduje Approves Redeployment Of Permanent Secretaries

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has approved the re-deployment of Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service, with a view to strengthening institutions for more robust and result-oriented public service.

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar on Saturday and made available to Solacebase said the re-deployment is with immediate effect.

According to the statement, with the new posting Binta Lawan Ahmed, has been moved from Ministry of Commerce to Office of the Head of Service, Saleh Ado Minjibir, from Government House to Ministry for Local Governments, Salisu M. Gabasawa remains in Civil Service Commission while  Dr Binta Umar Bala, from Ministry for Higher Education, now moved to Ministry of Health.

The statement said others who remain in their previous positions are Baballe Ammani, Statistician-General/Bureau of Statistics, Ali Sani Fane,  Salaries and Wages,  Idris Abdullahi Dawakin Tofa, Protocol Governor’s Office, Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, REPA, Cabinet Office, Auwalu Umar Sanda, Ministry for Women Affairs and  Lawan Habib Ibrahim, Ministry for Rural Development.

It added that those who remain in their previous posting also include  Ibrahim A. Sagagi, Ministry of Youth Development, Muhammad A. Musa, from Due Process Directorate, Abdullahi Alfa, Clerk of the State House of Assembly, Balarabe H. Karaye,  Ministry of Budget and Planning, Mu’azatu Isa Dutse, Manpower, Amina Yusuf ‘Yargaya,  Solicitor General/Ministry of Justice, Lauratu Ado Diso, Ministry of Education, Amina A. Musa,  Ministry of Science and Technology, Musa Yahaya Bichi, Special Duties/Office of the Secretary to the State Government and  Tijjani Abba Danbatta, Deputy Governor’s Office.

In the statement,  Abba L. Kailani was redeployed from Ministry for Local Governments to Establishment, Abba Ibrahim Wada, from Establishment to Government House, Amina Aminu Kano, from Pension Board to Ministry for Water Resources, Usman Bala Muhammad, from Ministry of Health to Ministry of Information, Zakari Sadiq Buda, from Ministry of Finance to Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Binta F. Salihu, from SERVICOM to Council Affairs Directorate and  Arc. Ahmed Salisu Abba, Director of Budget to Perm. Sec. Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Development

Similarly, Adamu Abdu Faragai was transferred from  Ministry for Special Duties to Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Dr Zainab Braji, from Council Affairs Directorate to Bureau of Land and Physical Planning, Hussaini G. Umar, Director Local Government to Perm. Sec. Ministry for Special Duties, Dr Lawan Shehu, Zonal Chief Medical Director, Gaya to Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Dahiru Ada’u, from Ministry of Works and Infrastructural Development to Ministry for Higher Education and  Sani Bashir, posted to Ministry of Commerce

Others include  Dr Hadi Bala, from Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources to Administration and General Services/Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Auwalu Ilyasu Riruwai, from Ministry for Water Resources to Pension Board, Tijjani Bello Abubakar, from Bureau of Land and Physical Planning to SERVICOM, Hafsatu Ilyasu Aliyu, from Ministry of Information to Ministry of Religious Affairs, Dr Muhammad Dahiru Shehu, Director Medical Services, Health Services Management Board to Ministry of Housing and Transport and Hassan Musa Kari, Director Due Process Bureau to Permanent Secretary Ministry of Environment.
