Ganduje directs reopening of all health training intuitions in Kano

The Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the re-opening of all public and private health training institutions in the State on 18th January 2021.

The State  Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, has instructed the re-opening of all public and private health training institutions in the state in accordance with the directive.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Ministry of Health public relations officer, Hadiza Mustapha Namadi, on Friday.

Solacebase reports that the institutions include schools of Basic/Post Basic Nursing and Midwifery, Schools of Health Technology and School of Hygiene.

The statement said Dr. Tsanyawa called on the management of the institutions to ensure strict adherence to the COVID 19 protocols.

‘’The Commissioner also call on the good people of the State to continue to wear face masks, wash hands regularly with soap and water, use of hand sanitizer, and maintain social distance to control the spread of the disease,’’ said the statement.
