Gov. Badaru mourns Ahmad Joda
Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has condoled the Governor, people of Adamawa State and the entire nation over the death of a former super permanent secretary Alhaji Ahmed Joda.
The Governor described Alhaji Ahmed Joda as a seasoned administrator and elder statesman who excelled in both his public and private life died in the service of humanity.
This was contained in a statement issued on Friday by Special Adviser Media and Public Relations to the Governor, Habibu Nuhu Kila.
Solacebase recalls that Joda died in Yola on Friday at the age of 91.
The statement said the late Ahmed Joda who chaired the transition committee that ushered in President Buhari’s administration in 2015 was one of the finest public servants the nation produced.
Badaru in the statement, therefore on behalf of himself, people of Jigawa State expressed his sympathy to the Governor and people of Adamawa state for the loss and prayed to Almighty to grant him eternal rest.
