Gov. Yusuf vows to publish names of beneficiaries of lands at Kano poly

Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has said the names of beneficiaries of allotted plots of lands at the controversial Kano polytechnic premises with structures marked for demolition would be published.

Yusuf disclosed this at the African Hall of the government House , Kano, on Sunday.

SOLACEBASE had reported that all the building on the said lands have been marked for demolition with the perimeter fences of some of the buildings already demolished by the state government task force.

The action is generating a lot of controversy as most of the owners of buildings on the lands said they acquired the Certificate of Occupancy and building approvals from government.

They are already sending emissaries to the governor not to demolish their properties worth billions of naira according to them at a news conference on Saturday.
