Governor-elect, Abba Gida Gida invites Kano people to witness presentation of certificate of return

The Kano State Governor-elect, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, popularly known as Abba Gida Gida is extending invitation to his teeming supporters, members and senior stakeholders of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to the presentation of certificate of return to all candidates who won election at the Saturday 18th polls.

SOLACEBASE reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kano has scheduled Wednesday 29th March, 2023 by 10am at the INEC secretariat to issue the certificate of return to governor-elect, his deputy and state assembly members elect.

The Spokesperson to the Kano State Governor-elect, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, in a statement on Tuesday said the occasion will be held at the INEC’s Conference Hall at 10:00AM prompt.

He urged the NNPP supporters and all invitees, known for peace-loving and law-abiding, to conduct themselves in an orderly manner during and after the occasion, wishing all a safe journey.
