By Uzair Adam

The Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission has vowed to fight corruption in the state despite numerous challenges surrounding its activities.

The Chairman of the commission, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, disclosed this on Friday at a media briefing held at the commission’s headquarters.

Rimin Gado said although fighting corruption is a difficult task as corruption often fights back in a dirty way, the commission will never be reluctant.

SolaceBase had reported the withdrawal of police personnel attached to the commission on the directive of the Inspector General of Police on Thursday.

Muhuyi commended the unwavering support of the Kano State Police Command to the commission in ensuring a corruption-free society.

‘’Honestly, I sincerely appreciate the support of the police in carrying out our responsibilities with highly responsible personnel attached to us, Muhuyi noted.
