A group, Gawuna/Garo Professional Political Network (GAPON) has vowed to mobilise 1 Million votes for the success of the All Progressives Congress, Kano governorship and deputy candidates come 2023 general elections.
The GAPON Chairman, Sadi Garba Sa’id, disclosed , on Friday, while briefing newsmen in Kano on their activities declaring that the group draws membership from across different professions, statuses and groups in the 44 local government areas of the state.
“Today is such a historic day in Kano, as we unveiled the first professionals’ political network in Kano that cut across different class, status, professions and attracted hundreds of groups that are loyal members of the APC and supporters of Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Hon. Murtala Sule Garo.
“Today, we call on all interested professionals, Women, Youth and young adults across the 44 LGA’s in Kano to come and join us in mobilizing the targeted 1 million professionals in Kano state for the victory of Gawuna/Garo. Ladies and gentlemen, Kindly come out in mass to be our ambassadors in the House-to-House, community-to-community and person to person mobilization to create history in Kano,” He explained.

According to him, the organisation invites like minds as progressive individuals, organizations and community stakeholders to support us in making GAWUNA/GARO the most acceptable candidates in Kano.
He noted that they are going to leverage social media platforms to serve as frontiers for Gawuna and Garo candidature.
He said: “Let us serve as the frontiers in social Media and community development agents for GAWUNA/GARO at the grassroot, let us inspire all kinds of professionals to freely participate actively in politics. Let us make more professionals to see the good, better and best sides of APC and our candidates.”
He further pointed out that GAPON is committed to engaging 1 million Professionals across Kano on issues related to sustainable development, Human capacity building, reorientation, inclusiveness, stakeholders participation and phase setting for the growth and development of Youths through programs and engagements.
“Let us promote the love and political loyalty of Gawuna/Garo in the hearts of professionals, Women, youths and elderly by engaging in Mass Campaign of reorientation across the 44 LGA of Kano State.
“Let us engage in both social, political, economic, and moral advocacy to attract more people to our camps in Kano state.”
