Suspected gunmen on Saturday abducted Engr. Bello Atiku HOD Computer Eng’g Tech, Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, Kaduna State.
”Mal. Sanusi Hassan of registry department was also shot and he is currently receiving medical attention at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika. His two sons were also kidnapped,” a source told Solacebase.
A source told Solacebase on Sunday that the incident occurred on Saturday night at UPE Staff quarters, Main Campus of the Polytechnic, Zaria.

Solacebase contacted the Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna Command, ASP Mohammed Jalige who confirmed the incident, noting that it occurred at about 10.00 pm on Saturday.
He said that investigation has commenced into the crime and efforts to rescue those abducted at the Polytechnic are on while on the trail of the kidnappers.
