Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences (ICPC) has enjoined teachers to shape their pupils’ mind towards imbibing the culture of honesty, integrity, and contentment.
ICPC Kano Commissioner Zayyanu Almu Dan-Musa made the assertion on Wednesday while speaking at a 2-Day Teacher Training on The National Values Curriculum (NVC) organized by ICPC in Kano.
He added that “valuing education is a very important concept to the Commission as every stride are being made to get children at a very young age and inculcate them with the urgent need to imbibe the positive values”
Dan-Musa reiterated that Teachers are among the Commission partners over the years, adding that there is good hope of having greater Interaction with parents and other stakeholders to ensure that youth minds are furnished with positive values.
In a remark, Chairman Kano State Universal Basic Education Boards, Dr. Danlami Haiyo said the 2-day training is timely and is another avenue whereby teachers will compliments anti-graft agencies to shape the pupil’s minds in knowing the value honesty and contentment in life as they are regarded as leaders of tomorrow.
The 2-day training organized by ICPC with collaboration with Youth Alive Foundation is ongoing simultaneously in Lagos, the Kano States as well as the FCT.
