Jigawa gets N47bn FG refund payment on airport, Paris Club
Jigawa State Governor Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar says the state has received over N47billion from the Federal Government as refund of Paris Club loan and airport project.
Governor Badaru Abubakar announced this on Sunday in his address at the inauguration of 42- kilometre Balago to Auno road.
The governor lauded President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting governors with intervention funds, which led to the execution of projects.

He said the state had received about N37billion from the Federal Government as a refund of Paris Club loan.
He said another N10billion was received as a refund to the state for the building of Dutse airport.
The Progressive Governor’s Forum, Chairman and Kebbi State Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, described Governor Abubakar as a pace-setter in the judicious utilisation of public funds.
Gov. Bagudu said the road would boost the socio-economic activities of the people.
