The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last governorship election in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, was welcomed back to the state by his supporters on Sunday
It was his first public appearance in the state since Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) was sworn in as governor of Kano.

Ex-governor and National Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, made a similar trip to the state after the Supreme Court ruled against the APC.
The massive reception of the teeming supporters accompanied Gawuna from the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) to his residence at Miller road.
